Unfortunately the days were some how changed during the process of reservation. Upon arriving to the hotel our reservations were not found, and this is when it was found out that the dates were wrong at that point fortunately they had rooms. We got them and asked them to cancel the other reservations which at this point, the receptionist said yes she would end of discussion we put our trust on the receptionist and the hotel, also got a cancellation notice…
Excellent costumer service, very friendly staff, the bar is a bit expensive, spent like $300 USD in 4 beers (2X) 6 shots (Don Julio 70) but bartender service was good, location is great. The only reason not giving it 5 stars is because my kids found a used condom under the sofa in the room. Cleaning services need to do a more thorough service in cleaning the room. Pool and jacuzzi were awesome. Very relaxed stay overall!

Planning your trip to Juarez
When to go
The hotel calendar here is flat — appointments and plant schedules set the rhythm — but the Chihuahuan desert does have seasons and you feel them on the street. October and November are the rounded months: 20-25°C days, clean light, cool nights. March and April are just as mild, with one caveat: wind, and afternoons of dust that erase the horizon and delay flights.
Summer is dry and hard. June and early July push past 38°C, and the wide avenues throw heat back at you well after dark. From July to September short, violent evening storms flood intersections and stall traffic for half an hour at a time. If you travel then, leave slack between your hotel and any appointment.
Winter surprises anyone who pictures the border as permanently hot: from December to February nights drop below freezing, the north wind bites, and an occasional snowfall shuts bridges and highways for a day. Check that the room has real heating, not just a heat setting on the air conditioner, and pack a coat.
Two periods move the city more than the prices do: the December weeks, when returning paisanos fill the bridges and a crossing can eat hours, and Mexican long weekends, which empty the offices and fill the malls. Hotels barely notice either; your itinerary will.
Getting there and around
Abraham González airport handles domestic flights — Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Tijuana — and sits southeast of town, 20-30 minutes from the hotel zones. It is a simple arrival, with car rental desks and authorised taxis. Reckon on the order of MX$250-400 to Pronaf or Tecnológico, depending on the hour and traffic on the Panamericana.
The other door is El Paso, with far more international connections. If your US visa is current, flying in there and crossing is often the practical move; budget for bridge time rather than distance. Southbound usually flows; the return to the American side clogs in the afternoons and at weekends.
Four crossings serve the city: Paso del Norte and Lerdo-Stanton right downtown, both good on foot; Córdova-Américas beside the Chamizal, the busiest by car; and Zaragoza-Ysleta to the east, near the industrial parks. Carry your passport and, where it applies, your Mexican immigration paperwork in order — not optional.
Distances inside the city are measured in long avenues. The ViveBús runs the Tecnológico axis and works well by day for under MX$15, while ride-hailing apps cover everything else at roughly MX$60-150 a trip. That is the sensible way to move at night; your own car only if work sends you out to scattered plants.
Where to stay, zone by zone
Pronaf and Paseo Triunfo de la República is the paperwork address: mid-range three- and four-star chains, many with a consulate shuttle and early breakfast, plus the art museum and the Paso del Norte cultural centre around the corner. Rates sit close to the city's typical figure, in the order of US$85, and firm up when appointments pile in.
The Avenida Tecnológico corridor and Las Misiones make the most comfortable base for almost everyone: business hotels with parking and meeting rooms, malls, restaurants, quick access to the airport. Further out toward Gómez Morín and Campestre the stock is newer and quieter, with dinner five minutes away by car.
The historic centre holds the lowest prices in our scan — the US$54 entry point lives here — plus the option of walking across at first light. In exchange it is noisy, it shuts down early, and the street changes character after dark. Fine for a short, early-rising stay; not for settling in a week.
By profile: visa trip, Pronaf with the shuttle confirmed in writing; work trip, Tecnológico or Las Misiones; fast crossing to El Paso, downtown; a plant on the east side, something near Zaragoza to avoid losing 40 minutes in rush hour. In every case, ask for enclosed parking.
Eating and going out
The Juárez burrito is the culinary reason to be here: a thin flour tortilla, one filling only — shredded beef, chile relleno, beans with cheese, chicharrón — and no padding. You eat it standing, it costs on the order of MX$40-70, and it makes entire breakfasts. The old neighbourhood loncherías are the good ones, and they open early.
Around it, northern cooking rules: weekend carne asada, charcoal-grilled cuts, machaca with eggs, flour gorditas, and Mennonite cheeses from the Chihuahua sierra. A decent grill dinner runs MX$300-600 a head; a set lunch in the office zones, in the order of MX$120-180.
Serious nightlife sits in Pronaf and out toward Gómez Morín — cantinas, taprooms, terraces — not on the Avenida Juárez of old postcards, which today is more crossing-trade commerce than party. Go and come back by app, tell the hotel your plan, and don't improvise routes through neighbourhoods you don't know.
With free hours, the Museum of the Revolution in the old customs house, the Guadalupe mission next to the cathedral and the Chamizal park fill half a day well. Downtown markets are for regional sweets and hats; for real shopping, locals cross to El Paso.

Weekends ease off and Sunday to Thursday fills with business travellers — the opposite pattern to a beach town. If your appointment could move, and consular dates do move, pay for the flexible rate; the gap against the non-refundable one rarely covers the risk of eating the night.
